Monk Moors sits in Cumbria where the hills are steep and the tea is strong enough to stop a clock. We don't have a massive list of venues yet, but that just means you'll find the real local spots without the tourist traps. The village feels like it has been waiting for someone interesting to turn up all afternoon. There's usually a market stall or a community gathering going on somewhere near the church. Even if the calendar looks quiet, there's always a neighbour with a band practice or a quiz night in their living room. We'll keep filling in the gaps as people tell us what they're doing.
