Read and Chat 11am – 12.30pm on the fourth Friday of the month This is a social group open to anyone who wishes to get out of the house, meet new people, and discuss books and stories. There are no set novels, genres, or styles of book. There is no snobbery – Shakespeare is not essential reading (although, bring him along if you wish!)! We each just bring along a book that we have been reading. We discuss fiction, non-fiction, biographies, podcasts, and audiobooks. The more variety, the more interesting the conversation. Monday Lunch Club A space for older voices, friendship, and community Monday Lunch Club is a weekly event designed to bring people together over good food and social activity. Places are limited so booking is essential. Each session boast a different menu with everything being made by our wonderful chef Jenny and a small team of volunteers.
