Building Trelissick: from farmhouse to riverside estate

Following the popularity of the Honor Budden exhibition Building Trelissick will now start on the later date of 30 April. Trelissick has evolved from a modest farmhouse into a distinguished riverside estate, shaped by the families who lived and worked here. In a new exhibition in the West Library we explore the story of Trelissick house through the evolution of the building’s architecture. This is a free exhibition, admission to Trelissick applies.

Interfaith Pilgrimage for Peace, Reconciliation and Care for Creation

A joint pilgrimage with the Cornwall Faith Forum, The Third Order of Franciscans and the Creation Care Network on Sunday 26th July 2026 marking the 800th Anniversary of St Francis. The walk will be from Tresillian to St Clements, with readings along the way and finishing with refreshments at St Clements. There will be options for those who do not wish to walk to meet at Tresillian to stop for the introduction and the first reading, and then to drive around to St Clement’s for the refreshments. We will meet at Tresillian at 1.45 pm for a 2.00 pm start. More information including the location of meeting up point in Tresillian in the joining information which will be available shortly. Christ Church Truro Service

Daniel 1:1-7 The congregation is made up of people from all backgrounds and every stage of life. We have lots of young families and small children as well as older adults. The service combines the best of traditional hymns and contemporary songs led by our band and centres each week on listening to God's word, the Bible. We serve coffee from 9.15am, before the service begins, and afterwards. The service normally finishes around 10.40am. We have a fully staffed crèche and amazing Sunday Club for primary age children where they learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment. We also have a group for 11+ called Combust.

Daniel 1:1-7 This congregation meets in a beautiful church building in the countryside just outside Truro. We are made up of people who have recently joined the church family as well as those who have been here for many years. Each Sunday we gather to allow God to speak into our lives as we open the Bible, listen, sing, pray and build community. Whether you are completely new to church and want to explore questions about faith, or are used to being part of a church family, we'd love to welcome you. Our time together starts with tea and coffee at 10.15am, the service begins at 10.30am and is normally finished by 11.40am when there is a further chance to chat over tea and coffee. We have plenty of families who are served by a baby and parent room, a Sunday Club for primary age children where they learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment, and a group for 11-14s with hot chocolate and an engaging Bible study.
