@ This National Marine Week, we’re excited to be teaming up with Cornwall Wildlife Trust for the Tor to Shore Big Beach Day at Carlyon Bay. Join us for a FREE, family-friendly day celebrating Cornwall’s incredible marine wildlife, coastal habitats and the conservation work helping to protect them. The National Lobster Hatchery will be joining the day with a talk about our conservation work, plus a special snorkel lobster release, giving booked participants the chance to help return young lobsters to the sea. Rock sits right at the tip of the peninsula where the sea is always watching and the sun tries very hard to win a medal. With no big venues listed in our facts yet, we'll just say that whatever live music or comedy act lands on this patch of land usually finds an appreciative crowd somewhere nearby. The coast road runs through it like a ribbon, so you can drive past a gig and still be back for tea before the rush hour starts.
