Evensong is the Church’s traditional service of evening worship, sung in the rich language of Scripture and prayer. The Blessed Sacrament is placed upon the altar, and we adore the Lord in silence and song, receiving his blessing in the sign of the Cross. Evensong and Benediction together unite the beauty of Anglican worship with the deep devotion of Catholic tradition: word and sacrament, praise and presence, rest and renewal in the love of Christ.
