We strongly recommending booking your tickets in advance to guarantee your place on our walks. While we will do our best to accommodate people on the day, places are subject to availability. Notes If you would like to visit the museum on the same day as your walk, this is possible from 11:30am before the walk starts, but there is not time after the walk finishes. Reminiscence Group

Join us at our monthly reminiscence group where we share our stories and memories from the past. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a long time Amersham resident, new to the area, or simply interested in meeting new people. We often look at objects from the museum’s collections to get us chatting, talk about a particular theme, or get involved in wider museum projects. These sessions are sociable, stimulating and fun. The sessions are free and last for around an hour and always include tea, coffee and biscuits. You are very welcome to bring a family member, friend or carer. Sign up here for Tuesday Oasis! We have a variety of children's toys and equipment for your children to play with and we usually have a craft and a story as well. For the parents we provide tea, coffee & biscuits and a snack for the kids. (Please bring their own drink). We ask for a donation of £1.50 for the first toddler you are booking into the group and 50p for any additional children. This is to cover our costs in running this group. Our toddler group is popular (like may others) so you will only be able to attend one day per week. If the group is already full please sign up to be on the waiting list HERE.
