If you are reading this and know anyone who struggles with technology, please let them know our support group which meets every week at Greenway Centre, with a cuppa, is now at Southmead Library every week on a Tuesday. It is designed to support residents with simple digital steps to get the most from their phone, tablet, or laptop and to use them safely and securely. Our community has one of the lowest digital inclusion rates in the City and so we wanted to address this by giving support to help more of our residents get connected. It can be isolating to be digitally excluded due to the lack of local support to get online, so our Volunteers will help group participants to do just that – over a cuppa where we can. Join the Greenway Strollers for a gentle amble around Badock’s Wood, followed by a cuppa and a chat. Walking is great for getting out into nature, breathing fresh air, and having a good chat. It’s also gentle exercise however this isn’t the focus. If anything the poddle is a plus! Meet us by the orchard to the left of Greenway’s front door – keep an eye out for the hi-viz jackets!
