About this event
Thames Valley Chorus Thames Valley Chorus have been entertaining the Thames Valley since 1974. We are a group of men who love to sing in four-part harmony. Our repertoire covers many styles of music. There are songs from the shows, gospel, covers of singers like Billy Joel and Queen and some standard classics that never date. Black Sheep Harmony Black Sheep Harmony are an all female a cappella chorus with a vibrant, distinctive sound. Based in Bristol and founded in 2012 with just nine singers, we’ve grown to a thriving ensemble of more than forty voices. Although rooted in the Barbershop tradition, our musical style is wonderfully eclectic, spanning Queen and ABBA to The Beatles and even Grieg. Over the years, the chorus has performed everywhere from care homes and supermarkets to National Trust properties, bringing harmony to audiences of all ages. We also love to compete, taking part in both local and national festivals - including the 2025 Llangollen International Eisteddfod - and earning awards for our rich, expressive sound. One reviewer memorably described us as “an indulgent cup of hot chocolate.”
