The St Stephen's Thrift Shop opened the doors to its very first sale in October 1976. We're 50 years old! To celebrate, there will be cake and coffee under the tent. Stop by and say hello. Tell us about your favourite find or a memorable Sale Day. As usual, there will be great deals on gently used clothing, shoes, purses & bags, housewares, books, and more at our monthly New to You Market! The New to You Market is operated by the all-volunteer St Stephen's Thrift Shop as a monthly market of high quality used goods. Proceeds from the sale support the church and a variety of international, national, and local charities selected at the end of each year. Open Church

Each Thursday, between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm, we open the doors to the worship space so that folks can stop in, sit in the quiet, say a prayer, light a candle, and/or have a quick word with our volunteer. Note: This ministry is volunteer dependent and while we do our very best to maintain the schedule, there are Thursdays when we are unable to open. We do not always have enough notice to update the website adequately of those schedule changes. If you come by and we are closed, please come again the next week!

St Stephen's Community Meal

The St Stephen's Community Meal is for everyone -- those whose budgets need a free meal and those who need a meal with others. We want to bring neighbours together, make connections, and enjoy delicious food. The Community Meal is a simple evening meal offered on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Doors open at 4:30. Dinner is served at 5:30. Dinner menus change monthly, reflecting seasonal offerings. Generally, we have salad, bread, a main dish, and dessert. Vegan options are available. The meal is offered FREE OF CHARGE. The funding for this meal was initially provided by a Parish Development Grant from the Diocese of New Westminster. We gratefully accept donations from those willing and able to contribute financially. There is a donation jar at the meal or donations can be made online; use the drop down menu).
