About this event
Kombucha has been brewed for over 2,000 years, originating in Northeast China before spreading along trade routes through Russia and Eastern Europe. This naturally fermented tea ; alive with beneficial bacteria and yeasts , has been treasured across cultures as a tonic for energy, digestion, and vitality. Now it’s your turn to make it. About the Workshop Join us for a fun, practical session where you’ll learn to brew your very own kombucha from scratch , and take a jar of your own creation home with you. Don’t forget to bring your own jar! This workshop brings together two wonderful practitioners with complementary expertise: Keigh Williams of Thrive Health will guide you through the simple, satisfying steps of kombucha-making. Thrive Health was founded to support the growing numbers of people living with ADHD, addiction, poor mental health, and chronic pain , and Leigh brings a deeply practical approach to everything she shares. Lin Petry of Lin Petry Nutrition will give a presentation on the gut science behind kombucha , exploring what this living drink does for your microbiome and digestive health. Lin has a special interest in gut health, energy levels, and hormone balance, particularly for women in midlife and beyond. * * *Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event was rescheduled from 10th June to the 26th August.
