Food Share is slightly different to a food bank because the donations come directly from food retail. The donations are food that have a sell-by date of that day on them, but that are still edible. With our food share project we do help those who are in some financial need, but it is not just for those in need. Food Share is different from a food bank because it's for absolutely everyone. As well as helping those who need a hand, we are all doing our bit for the environment by eating food that would otherwise go to landfill!
