About this event

After this short 1 hours introductory session you will be able to: •To understand what digital exclusion is including reflecting on your own use of digital. •To appreciate who may be offline or unable to use digital tools in Stockport – myth buster. •To have the ability to list DigiKnow activities and signpost people if required. •To have the confidence to support people in Stockport who are not able to benefit fully from digital. •To identify next steps. The 1 hour session we be delivered on Microsoft Teams and the link will be sent to your email address 48 hours before the session. Starting Point store all learner details securely and all diversity data is anonymised and used for analysis. Your information will be held by Starting Point for the period of time required by Stockport Council in relation to the course you have taken part in. In addition, we may share attendee names with Stockport college and council staff to ensure we are targeting the correct people to our training. You have the right to access, change or ask for your data to be deleted and can withdraw consent for data sharing. You are able to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office should you feel it necessary to do so.
