About this event
We will leave St Mary's pm and drive to Fullerton (transport provided if needed). We will walk along the west side of the Anton valley and then down across the river and up the hill on the opposite side of the valley, returning to Fullerton via Wherwell and Cottonworth. The distance is about 4 miles. This is a very enjoyable walk with lovely views in all directions. We will be back at St Mary's about 3.00 pm. Please bring a packed lunch and suitable footwear. For anyone preferring to drive directly to Fullerton, we will start the walk from the triangle (junction of Fullerton Road and Longstock Park Road) at 12.35 pm. There are a few parking spaces on Fullerton Road and Longstock Park Road. Please contact Simon Nash () if you need a lift or driving directions. If you haven't walked with us before, you will be very welcome!
