About this event
Come and spend your day trying out the beautiful art of enameling with local enamel artist Heather Croft. Whether you have previous experience or if this is your first time, all are welcome. Work with recycled copper and vitreous enamel (ground glass) and watch the magic unfold when fired in the kiln. You will be shown how to use decals, scrafitto techniques, glass stringers and or millie fiore, silver leaf and silver foil, lustres and stencils to create your own unique pieces. So many techniques to choose from! You will make at least 5 pieces over the course of the day. These can be panels of 3" x 3", earrings, a ring bowl, pendants or a keyring. Please note there is a £30material charge payable on the day. Everything you make can be taken away on the day.
