Rabbi Kathleen and Rabbi Anthony are running a pre-9 Av event in St Albans. Nestled in a small, non-conformist church in the backstreets of St Albans is (by far) the UK's largest historically accurate model of Hadrian's Temple in Jerusalem, entirely handmade by Howard Roberts. Just before 9 Av, when we commemorate the Temple's destruction, Howard will introduce us to the model; and over a 90 minute tour help us understand what the Temple was, how it worked day-to-day, and why it was destroyed. There are 10 spaces on the tour and a limited number of lifts from Stanmore to St Albans will be available. Please register at to book your place and receive the venue address. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is now full but please contact the Mosaic office if you wish to be placed on the waiting list.
