Albrighton & District Historical Society covers the area of Albrighton, Boningale, Tong and Donington-with-Boscobel in East Shropshire, England. Their lively and interesting talks are normally held at 7:30pm on the first Monday of every month plus special events in June, July and December. See Facebook or the Events page for details. Meetings are open to all. We also work on local history projects, answer queries, and visit places of historical interest. We take a keen interest in the preservation of significant buildings and monuments in our area. Annual membership is just £8 and visitors are welcome to attend any meeting for £2. We are an informal and friendly group and we would love to see you at our next event.
