Unlock your creativity and discover how to turn your imagination into reality with clay and colour. Led by Surrey Artist of the Year 2025, Hilary Peat, you will experience the technique of sgraffito, using tools to carve and scratch grooves through a layer of coloured slip to reveal the contrasting clay body below. You will create your own decorative motif or illustration on a ceramic tile.
