About this event
Everyone loves stained glass and the gorgeous effect of the light streaming through it. Well imagine being able to make your own gorgeous glass decorations to hang at the window or in front of a light source. This one day copper foil stained glass workshop will introduce you to the art of making stained glass using the copper foil method. Your subject will be leaves - perfect for an Autumn palette or go green and think of Spring! During this one day workshop you will make a small selection of copper foil leaf decorations. You will learn to cut glass, foil and solder them, and finish them off ready for hanging in the window or even outside on a tree! ***Lead-based solder will be used – this creates toxic fumes and pregnant women are advised not to handle lead or breathe in fumes.*** Please note there is a £20 material charge payable on the day.
