A friendly group meeting weekly. We knit, no experience needed. Open to none knitters. Free of charge to attend. Our tearoom is open. We meet in the Nave and knit together. Pop along, no need to book. The meet and greet team will show you where we are. Thank you to everyone who has been knitting squares for blankets. We can no longer take anymore squares.

St John Fellowship Meeting

The St. John Fellowship began 40 years ago and is part of The Order of St. John. Members are over 18 with an interest in supporting St. John Ambulance and the Eye Hospital in the Middle East. Main and immediate aims are "friendship and fun" for all members. We meet monthly and include a regular coffee morning at the Trinity Rooms Cafe. Fellowship members do not need to have been in St. John Ambulance. We follow a varied programme of activities that include heritage, fund raising, public relations and welfare. We always welcome new members. First Wednesday of the month, 11am - 1pm Trinity Tearooms. #StJohnFellowship #StJohnAmbulance

Spring Alpha 2026

13th May 2026 to 22nd July 2026 Wednesday 7.30pm – 9pm In our Cafe, Hull Minster Got questions about faith? is a place to ask the big questions of life. Get together and watch a series of episodes that explore the basics of the Christian faith. Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. The Alpha episodes are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They're about thirty minutes long and explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us? Probably the most important part of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There's no obligation to say anything and there's nothing you can't say (seriously). It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Welcome Cafe

A place for all, to meet strangers and make friends. Games, tea, coffee, cake and good chat are at the heart of this. Where anywhere up to one hundred or more regular guests come in and share the welcome. We offer tea, coffee, delicious cakes and at lunch time, a hot meal that has been made in our own kitchen. Pay what you can It's been referred to as a real community hub. The City Council's information facility is available to anyone that has questions of the Council. Renew, the drugs and alcohol support service, see it now as an established meeting place and because of the informal environment have been able to engage even better with those seeking ongoing support. There may be someone you know that is struggling with an addiction and you don't know what to do to support a family member or friend. Come along, confidential help is available. Another regular is the NHS Hepatitis C blood testing team. Those that take a test receive a £5.00 gift voucher. There is ongoing pastoral support available. We usually also offer a short Celtic Prayer 's an opportunity to take 10mins for reflection.
