We are proud to be the hosts and registered address for Wulfruna Land & Water Lifesavers. Wulfruna Lifesavers are Wolverhampton's voluntary Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (No. 1188656). The objects for which the CIO is established is to further the saving of lives, whether by prevention or rescue, for the public benefit, in particular, but not exclusively: 1. By promoting water safety practices in all aspects of water activities. 2. By providing a voluntary lifeguard service to the community and public at large 3. By providing voluntary community first response to the community and public at large 4. By providing aquatic lifesaving and search and rescue qualifications 5. By providing education and training in water safety, rescue, lifesaving, coaching, resuscitation, and first aid 6. By providing lifesaving safety awareness and prevention of drowning guidance and information. Wulfruna Lifesavers run regular lifesaving classes at WV Active Central Baths every Tuesday evening 20:30 - 21:30 for those aged 12+. For further information visit Wulfruna's website.
