About this event
Meditation is a universal spiritual tradition. We find it in all the great wisdom traditions of the human family. Meditation takes us to the depths of our being, to our true self and to the pure experience of God in the ground of our being. In the early Christian monastic tradition we find the practical instructions on how to pray in what Jesus called the “inner room” and “in spirit and truth”. Join us for meditation / silent prayer each month in Buxton's Community Room (left of Buxton's Close, Vicarage Road, Wookey, BA5 1JW). Please arrive at 2pm so that we can all be seated by 2:15pm, as there is a security lock on the door. There's a chance to enjoy a cuppa and a chat afterwards too. For more information please
