About this event

Join our extremely knowledgeable archaeology volunteers on these 2 special edition Archaeology tours, as part of the National Festival of Archaeology. Discover Oxburgh’s incredible archaeology as you delve into the past and discover the overlaps between Archaeology and Nature. Expect to learn about how we help nature thrive, significant finds at Oxburgh such as our Flint mounds, water mill and the effect of river restorations. You can even handle some of our historic finds! Access to some areas of this tour can be difficult due to the terrain and will be adapted depending on ground conditions, group interest and ability.
