Wild About Harvest Mice (age 11-17)

This event is designed for ages 11-17 in partnership with the Nene Valley Mammal Youth Group. Young people attending this even must be accompanied by their adult at all times. Accompanying adults go free. Join us for a hands-on Harvest Mouse Survey and help make a real difference for wildlife. Learn how to identify suitable habitat, search for harvest mouse nests, and collect valuable data that contributes to a national citizen science project. No previous experience is needed – just an interest in nature and a willingness to explore. This is a great opportunity to develop practical wildlife survey skills, connect with like-minded people, and take positive action for conservation. Every survey helps improve our understanding of harvest mouse populations and helps us to protect the harvest mouse population at Stanwick Lakes.
