Tracking the migration of blues from New Orleans/Louisiana (NOLA) to Chicago & beyond… The band aim to present an honest approach to the music and in true blues tradition, believe it is “all about the song”, live, clear and simple. Chicago Nola features the incredible vocal talents of Michelle Eley, supported by the experienced trio of Bill Jenks (guitar), Dietmar Schantin (bass) and Sean McGran (drums). Open Farm Sunday at The Woodlands Farm Trust

Come and join us for this national celebration of farming. Throughout the day we will have guided walks, a chance to meet our animals and Tractor and Trailer Rides. We will also have some activities for children and a pop up café. A great opportunity to find out all about what we do at Woodlands Farm. Entry is free, but there will be a charge for certain activities. Donations are also welcome to support Woodlands Farm. Basketry workshop - Tea tray

Berrywillows Basketry with Tara Ford Tickets £40 from https://tinyurl.com/yeyxx5az Join us on an enjoyable evening workshop to make this adorable tea tray! Our evening workshops offer a gentle introduction to willow weaving and basketry. We make different items each session and in June we're getting ready for garden tea parties with these delightful trays. You will learn two borders, a simple track border to anchor the willow to a pre-drilled wooden base and then a three rod border to finish. You can build in integral handles, add 'ear' handles or leave it without (as in the picture above) This project is suitable for beginners and for those a little further along on their basketmaking journey. All materials are provided, along with tea and cakes PLEASE NOTE, WILLOW WORK IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN A basketmaker for many years, Tara runs friendly workshops introducing people to this ancient craft. Beginners welcome.
