
A pair of 19th century hand-coloured chromolithographs of a Green-Fleshed Melon and a Gansels Bergamot Pear featured in James Anderson’s The New Practical Gardener and Modern Horticulturist published by William Mackenzie in 1875. Anderson was the Bateman Gold Medalist of the Royal Horticultural Society. They are framed in hand painted scallop frames, exclusive to Canford & Co with decorative mounts and non-reflective glass: 31 x 25 cm The price is for the pair, but they are available for £200 each.
