The Employment Support Team run free Work Clubs every week in Bitterne, Thornhill, Lordshill, Sholing and the city centre for people to drop in and get support and advice. Whether you’re looking for a new job, want to return to the workforce, or find an additional job to top up your earning, our dedicated team of Employment Officers are on hand to offer advice, support and guidance. Drop in to a Work Club for support with: Creating or updating CVs Job searching Preparing for interviews Signposting to support with benefits, housing, childcare and cost of living Get referred to one of our 1:1 employment support projects More Info here Work Clubs Website

The earth works hard to provide food for us, and we think all that delicious food should end up in our bellies – not in landfill. Some of the food we use is donated by local shops, when they have surplus food or when fresh food is past its sell by date. We also receive some donations from Fare Share, and we’re hoping to grow our own food in a new community garden. We check all the food we use is just as fresh and full of life as you’d expect from any other café. What is PAY AS YOU FEEL? We want you to enjoy our delicious, nutritious meals, regardless of the size of your wallet. You can make a donation of your choice by putting money in the pay-as-you-feel jar. Give as much or little as you feel able to, and your donation will help us feed more people. Help yourself to change if you need to. We also accept payment in time or skills – why not lend a hand with the washing up today? Or bake us a cake? Or help us out with an event?
