World Cup Kick Off

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of football, fun, and fundraising at our World Cup Kick Off event! Join us on Friday 5th June at Wendover Memorial Hall for a lively, football-themed night filled with entertainment, great food, and community spirit. Whether you’re a devoted football fan or just in it for the atmosphere, this event promises something for everyone aged 12 and over. Arrive from 7:00pm ahead of a 7:30pm kick off, with the final whistle blowing at 11:00pm. Please note that last orders at the bar will be at 10:45pm. Throughout the evening, you’ll enjoy a football-themed quiz, a delicious meal from Codfather Chippy, and the chance to take part in our raffle and live sweepstake for the first 48 sign-ups (participants in the sweepstake must be aged 18 or over). Come dressed in your favourite team or country’s colours and soak up the match-day energy with friends, family, or colleagues. With a fully stocked bar and plenty of opportunities to get involved, it’s set to be a fantastic night from start to finish. Please be aware that parking at the venue is limited, so we recommend planning your travel in advance where possible. Tickets are £20 per person, or you can book a table of 8 for £145 – perfect for bringing your team together. Most importantly, all profits made from the evening go to Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, helping to provide vital care and support for patients and their families across Buckinghamshire and its borders.
