Join us for another Foodie Saturday at The Farmers Butcher, this time with Alicia from Epula Epula is led by founder and head chef Alicia Storey, who brings over 20 years of culinary experience and a passion for creating thoughtful, flavour-led dishes for special occasions and events. For this pop-up, Alicia will be cooking with our butcher’s produce to create a simple but seriously good menu built around bold flavours and quality ingredients. On the menu: Lamb kofta made with our butcher’s lamb, served with sautéed potatoes, mint and lemon yoghurt. Butcher’s skirt steak with fried egg and crispy chilli oil. Food will be served from 11:30am until 2:30pm or until sold out, so come hungry and make a lunchtime of it.

We’re excited to welcome Alex & Rys from Loaf to The Farmer Butcher for a seriously tasty pop up. Loaf is a food truck and catering company run by two chefs with over 20 years of combined experience, serving up the food they genuinely love to eat. Expect epic sourdough grilled cheese toasties, golden and crisp on the outside, oozing with flavour on the inside, paired with indulgent house dipping sauces made using ingredients from brilliant local suppliers. Alongside Loaf, we’ll also be hosting a special Meet the Producer session with Lisa from Pie Punks. Lisa creates delicious, award winning pies and quiches that are completely gluten free, packed with flavour and made with real care. It’s the perfect chance to taste, chat, and discover what makes her products so popular. Come hungry, bring friends, and make a day of it. Great food, passionate producers, and plenty of reasons to treat yourself.

Mike will be on the BBQ for the day, cooking over the coals and serving up slow-cooked beef brisket and pulled pork with BBQ sauce, alongside top-quality produce straight from the flames. Expect bold flavours, proper portions and that unbeatable just-grilled taste that makes summer eating so good. Alongside the BBQ, you’ll find a brilliant line-up of local producers and independent favourites. It’s the perfect chance to browse, taste, stock up and discover something new while enjoying a relaxed Saturday atmosphere. Expect everything from pies and cakes to tea, wine, spirits and artisan treats. Whether you’re popping in for lunch, picking up supplies for the weekend or simply fancy a wander with a drink in hand, there’ll be plenty to tempt you. Join us for another Foodie Saturday at The Farmers Butcher with Courthouse Catering. Courthouse Catering is an independent, family-run business with a strong focus on quality ingredients and supporting the fantastic local growers, producers and suppliers they work with. For this pop-up, they’ll be serving up big pan dishes, cooked fresh and packed with flavour. On the menu this time is rich, comforting mac & cheese, topped just how you like it with a selection of pulled pork, crispy bacon bits, crispy onions, and sautéed mushrooms. Expect generous, crowd-pleasing plates designed for sharing good food and enjoying a relaxed Saturday lunch. Food will be served from 11:30am until 2:30pm or until sold out, so come along, bring friends and make a lunchtime of it.

Dorset Spice Shed was born from a lifelong love of herbs and spices, and it shows in every blend. Richard has been creating and experimenting with seasonings since 2011, crafting unique mixes that turn great ingredients into something truly memorable. For him, seasonings are the magic ingredient. The right balance of herbs, spices, salt, pepper and dried vegetables can transform the everyday into something special. On the day, Richard will be cooking up a delicious BBQ using his signature blends, showcasing just how powerful great seasoning can be when it hits the grill. Expect bold flavours, perfectly balanced rubs and that unmistakable smoky finish that only a proper BBQ can deliver. He will also have a full collection of his spices and rubs available to buy, so you can take the flavour home and experiment in your own kitchen. Most of the herbs and spices used in his blends are air dried, following traditional, sustainable methods that celebrate one of the oldest forms of food preservation. It is all about honest ingredients, thoughtful sourcing and serious flavour.
