Make Your Own Leather Wallet & Belt

Join us for a hands-on leatherworking workshop where you’ll craft two timeless pieces: a classic leather belt and a hand-stitched billfold wallet. These make ideal Christmas gifts - thoughtful, useful, and entirely handmade by you. Using high-quality British vegetable-tanned leather, you’ll be guided through traditional techniques to create beautiful, functional items that only improve with age. Using British saddlery leather you will make your very own wallet, lining it with premium gloving leather and hand stitching with strong linen thread. You will have the option to personalise it with up to three initials. The wallets will be approx 12 cm x 9 cm x 1 cm. You will also make a lovely leather belt fitting it with a solid english brass or chrome buckle (or bring your own buckle to reuse). You’ll learn how to: Cut and prepare leather using traditional tools Hand stitch using saddle-stitch techniques Burnish edges and attach hardware Personalise your pieces with initials or hardware choices Perfect for beginners and those looking to expand their craft skills. You'll leave with two finished, high-quality leather goods - ideal to gift, or to keep and enjoy yourself.
