Tuesday Evenings 18:30 – 20:30 Want to tackle your next home project yourself? Join experienced carpenter/maker, Stuart of Big House Events, and learn how to use hand and power tools. This course is aimed at those keen to fix, build and finish small projects, and unearth the secrets of basic woodworking and repair for DIY. Learn the basics of home improvement and small builds – from understanding what is you in your tool box, to making small plaster frames, hanging shelves, simple construction, and the importance of finding the right tool for the job. Participants will leave with their own handmade simple plywood toolbox, and the confidence to begin their own projects at home, and at EOW..

In our Community Music Circle, we will create ‘in the moment’ music with drums, percussion, voices and other easy-to-play melodic instruments. Join in whatever way you can and are comfortable with. Drums and percussion provided (or bring your own). Music Circle information There’s no need to book. Just come along. Start time is 7:30pm (running until 8:30pm). Please arrive five/ten minutes before the start time. Our music circles are for adults (minimum age 16). The session costs £3 or £5 - just choose what suits you on the night! We welcome Morag from Moving Music to lead our music circles. If you have any questions, please email or call . Morag from Moving Music Morag is a qualified Drum Circle Facilitator, Music Medicine Practitioner, and Social Worker. Morag is also trained to deliver sessions in Expressive Rhythm stories and Rythym2Recovery. Morag has over 20 years’ experience providing opportunities for individuals and communities to explore the moving power of music. She has worked with people from all walks of life and is passionate in her belief that we are all musicians. Using easy to play and unusual instruments her inclusive friendly and fun approach creates a safe space to play. Participants will be supported to grow in skills and confidence and to discover and awaken their own inner music.
