About this event
Our first LGBTQ+ Book Club will be held at Book-ish Crickhowell on Monday 27th July at 7.30pm-9pm We are so excited to say we will be reading The Boyfriend Academy by Jack Strange! You can pick up your book from Book-ish in Crickhowell or Abergavenny. Love is forbidden. Truth is dangerous. Survival is everything. Ganymede’s is no ordinary boarding school. Behind its spiral towers and manicured lawns, boys are forged into the men society demands – strong, obedient, perfect. Graduate, and the world is yours: a home, a career, a wife. But fail… and you’re no longer useful to society. The ticket includes a glass of wine or soft drink, a discussion with prompt questions given by the host that week and a copy of the book we are reading. *Jack also has an event with us on Wednesday 22nd July with Emily Garside (author of Rainbow Wales) at Bookish Abergavenny.
