I have exhibited a number of times in the last six years and enjoyed Artists residencies in the Highlands and on Skye. I draw and paint everyday.’ Scott McFarlane | Spring Fling Open Studios Facebook: Scott McFarlane Art 6th May – Demonstration with Fiona Stansfield ‘It was in 2006 whilst working as a research scientist in the African bush that Fiona turned her hand to art, starting with pastel pencils and charcoal (these basic artist’s tools being easy to carry about and obtain in Zimbabwe). Her unique, expressive and highly detailed drawings, based on her own photography, soon became popular and supported her PhD studies into elephant reproduction and conservation.
