Singer Songwriter, Alice Faye, from Glasgow, is fast becoming one of Scotland’s most distinctive new voices, crafting songs, which balance cinematic drama with intimate confessional storytelling. Accompanying herself on guitar and keyboards, together with Lewis Doherty, on guitar and backing vocals, she appears at Montrose Playhouse as part of a short Scottish September tour. Fresh from winning the BBC Introducing Award for 2026, after being voted ” The Sound of Young Scotland ” at the Scottish Album of the Year Awards for 2025, Alice Faye continues to build momentum as she prepares for the release of her debut Album, entitled ” Vaudevillain”. Blending Sixties Folk, Seventies Pop and classic Country with a theatrical chanson-inspired flair, the music of Alice Faye feels both timeless and vividly modern.
