Art Club

Art Club is a safe, supportive space where young people come together to explore their creativity, connect with others, and nurture their mental health. Sessions are led by award-winning artist Daby Obiechefu and supported by co-directors Isla Telford and Jenny Harper. Sessions take place at our studio in Longton Exchange Shopping Centre. We are not trained therapists but our workshops offer a safe creative space where children and young people build confidence, social skills and wellbeing. We have experience working with children and young people who suffer from anxiety, have diagnosed or undiagnosed autism or other neuro divergent conditions. All Art Clubs are FREE to attend. We request a contribution of £5 per child towards art materials and running costs, but not from those entitled to free school meals and this does not affect your child’s ability to attend. We have a maximum of 15 places available and are currently fully booked. Please complete the /artclub to register your interest and we will contact you when a place becomes available. Toilets are gender-neutral but located up two flights of stairs, which may be difficult for those with accessibility needs. The nearest accessible toilet is at Tesco Extra, a five-minute walk away. Longton Train Station is less than a 5-minute walk from the venue.
