FILM SCREENING Join us for a Dementia-Friendly screening from the Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF). This programme is created specially for people living with dementia and their carers, families and friends. Designed to bring moments of calm and happiness, these films are super short with gentle soundtracks and simple – but not childish - storylines. With international animations, dance films, comedies and documentaries, there's something for everyone. This session will be dementia-friendly which means we'll make the space as comfortable and familiar as possible for everyone attending. There will be light refreshments available and the space where we'll show the films won't be completely dark and the volume on the films won't be too loud. You're welcome to chat during the films and everyone is encouraged to come and go as they please - you can stay for one film or all of them, whatever you fancy! 17 June 2026 11am — 1pm

Film London x Women’s Museum: Launch Event

EVENT Join us for the launch of the Women’s Museum Film Programme with a special panel discussion exploring women’s voices in film, filmmaking as a feminist practice, and the role of memory in shaping cinematic storytelling. Moderated by the Women’s Museum Curator, the conversation brings together this years invited guest curators to discuss the realities of working in the film industry today, the histories and experiences that inform women’s filmmaking, and how film can act as a space for collective memory, resistance, and representation: Ying Di Yin — Girls in Film Isra Al Kassi — TAPE Collective Nuala O'Sullivan — WOFFF Sarah Carne The panel will reflect on whose stories are remembered, archived, and told through film - and how women continue to reshape the cinematic landscape through creative practice and storytelling. The event marks the opening of the Women’s Museum Film Programme and will be followed by opportunities for audience discussion and networking. 11 June 2026 7pm — 9pm
