Doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start.Harbottle & Jonas - Folk and Poetry / / Partners in life and music, dynamic Devon based folk duo Harbottle & Jonas are one of the most exciting acts on the UK circuit today, combining a love of the richness of traditional folk with their own original and powerful songwriting. Dave and Freya have developed a distinct and compelling signature sound, blending concertina, harmonium, cittern, stomp box, acoustic guitar and banjo with their beautiful and closely intertwined vocal harmonies. / / “Spellbinding originals, they will knock your socks off” - Musicians Union / / They will be joined by Jane Newberry, poet and children's author, who will regale you with querky poems old and new to leave you smiling. / / St Sampson's are grateful for the support Harbottle & Jonas and Jane Newbery in helping to raise funds for St Sampsons Unlocked project, an ambitious project to improve and restore South Hill church.
