Choose from a range of child-friendly crafts and bespoke woodwork pieces to make something beautiful to take home. Prices start at £5. Cash and card payments accepted, to be paid to the workshop leader. These sessions are drop-in and first come first served. Suitable for all ages. Workshops will be hosted at the Stables Courtyard - whilst you're here, treat yourself to a coffee or refreshing ice cream from our new coffee pod.

Croquet on the lawn

back to Upcoming events at Montacute House Skip to content Croquet on the lawn Borrow a croquet set and have a go. Free event (admission applies) The beautiful Cedar Lawn is an ideal spot for a game of croquet. If you fancy giving it a go then head to Visitor Reception to borrow a set. There are smaller mallets available for children. The croquet sets are loaned on a first come first served basis and must be returned when you have finished using them. They are available for loan daily, except on Wednesdays when the local croquet club use the lawn.
