Martock Carers Group by Somerset Carers Service and Laurel Home Care is a free, informal gathering for people who regularly look after someone, maybe a friend, family member or loved one, in an unpaid capacity. We meet to socialise, share stories and ideas and to talk about our experiences. Professional speakers and service providers also visit to offer support and information. Bring the person you care for so you can both have an enjoyable time as the wonderful activity makers from The Laurel Hine Day Centre join us and invite your loved one for activities and gentle conversation whilst you meet. Arrive from 10:30am every Third Thursday of the month at the Rose and Crown Pub East Lambrook. Please call or email before first attending in case of schedule changes.
