Join us on the first Friday morning of the month for hand’s-on, informative Gardening Workshops in our Studio at Old Barn Garden Centre. Join us and discover how to turn your kitchen and garden waste into nutrient-rich mulch for your garden. We’ll break down the science of the nitrogen-to-carbon ratio plus, we’ll guide you through getting started with hot composting, wormeries, and the traditional garden heap. Be part of nature’s cycle and give your garden a healthy boost. You will learn: why garden compost is so brilliant for your borders the difference between hot composting, the traditional compost heap, and wormeries about the carbon to nitrogen ratio and why it is important how to create a working compost heap the benefits of hot composting and how to get started wormeries how to resolve common compositing problems The Venue: Our very own studio space is set within the grounds of Old Barn Garden Centre, Dial Post, South of Horsham. Our dedicated space for courses, is a light airy and spacious place to learn. The Group: Jenny teaches in small groups (max 10) which ensures everyone gets the opportunity to practice, and time to ask questions.
