May Intro to Natural Farming Workshop
CuratedAbout this event
Spend an afternoon with Birch Farm's Head Gardener Joshua Sparkes as you explore the potential that Natural Farming could have in protecting our wildlife and environment, while also growing delicious and healthy food with the need for minimal inputs. Josh will touch on the fundamental principles that he and his team have been developing over the last 4 years that have turned Birch Farm into a haven for biodiversity . The afternoon will be spent touring and discussing many of the farm's systems such as agroforestry, polycultures, habitat management, vegetable production and home made farm inoculants for the soil. Many of the topics you will see can easily be used in your garden no matter how big or small. With your workshop confirmation you receive 5% off throughout The Collective at Woolsery on the day; join us at The Farmers Arms, get take our from Woolsery Fish and Chips or pick up supplies at J Andrew Shop.
