No previous experience is necessary. Tara has been making personalised handprint and fingerprint jewellery from metal clay since 2010 with Joy Impressions. The course will not involve handprints or fingerprints (unless you want to impress your own fingerprint in the silver!) but you will make a simple pendant or 2 or a pair of earrings in silver art clay that you will be able to take home at the end of the day. During your day you will learn: - Rolling & cutting - Texturing - Pre fire finishing - Post fire finishing - Burnishing - Polishing - Oxidising to create 'antiquing' look (optional) There will be a selection of textures to use. An additional £20 materials charge (may be subject to change as silver art clay is a volatile commodity) is payable on the day for this workshop.
