The West Wing of Lytes Cary Manor will be open to visitors. Take the opportunity to walk around the well-preserved, extravagant house, with its dark wood-panelled walls, fine period furnishings and grand bedrooms. It will be open Wed 2 & Thu 3 September 2026 from 11am to 4pm (last entry at 3.30pm). Entry to the West Wing is included in the National Trust Membership or within the normal day entry fee for non members.

Held in the historic barns and courtyard areas. The Lytes Cary market showcases a variety of products that have been crafted by neighbouring artists. Entry is free to the market, although normal admission applies if you'd like to visit the house, garden, tea-room or estate.

Pick up a family fun backpack stuffed full of activities, ride a hobby horse or challenge your friends to a game of croquet. There are puzzles to solve, colouring to be done and a giant spider to discover in the woodland.
