End of Season Family Event – Scottish Myths

Sunday 27 September 2026 | 12pm – 4pm Ticket prices: from £7.00 per person for adults and £4.00 per person for children Celebrate the close of our 2026 visitor season with a magical day inspired by Scotland’s rich folklore and legends. As part of our Family Discovery Days series, we invite families to step into a world of storytelling, imagination and outdoor exploration. Follow themed trails through the Grounds, enjoy engaging storytelling sessions with our Ranger, and take part in creative crafts inspired by Scotland’s mythical past. Step inside the House to explore a myth-themed self-led trail, while throughout the day you’ll encounter enchanting touches designed to spark curiosity and wonder. We’re also delighted to welcome Lunar Eclipse EFL Therapy Horses CIC, bringing their much-loved unicorn and therapy ponies for visitors to meet. What’s included: Myth-themed trails through the Grounds Storytelling sessions with our Ranger Creative crafts in the Education Room A myth-themed self-led trail through the House* Meet therapy ponies and a unicorn *The self-led House trail is available with a House & Grounds ticket only. All other activities are included with your admission ticket. Visitors can choose between a Grounds Only ticket or a House & Grounds ticket , which also includes access to the historic House.
