Southsea Cinema & Arts Centre present… Quadrophenia A cult-classic British film inspired by the iconic rock opera album by The Who. The plot: Set in 1965 London and Brighton, Quadrophenia follows Jimmy Cooper, a disillusioned and angst-ridden working-class teenager searching for identity, belonging, and escapism within the Mod subculture. Against a backdrop of sharp suits, scooters, music, and clashes with rival Rockers, Jimmy navigates friendship, rebellion, and the pressures of growing up in 1960s Britain. Please note: The location is 18+ so we cannot accept audience members under 18. Venue: outside in the Jurassic car park. Please note, the screening may be postponed if the weather is bad.
