Albion at last come to Manchester with their unique blend of flute-infused folk, rock and metal, featuring past and present members of Jethro Tull. Known for having one former member and one current touring member of Jethro Tull, it is no surprise that flute features prominently in Albion, with the music occasionally being reminiscent of the folk-leanings of 70s rock groups such as Genesis, Tull and Led Zeppelin, though oftentimes with a heavier, more modern backing than their predecessors. As part of their UK tour in support of the new album ‘It Was In The Month Of May’, attendees to this show will get discounted access to the album on CD and vinyl which releases on May 27th. The setlist will feature songs from 2021’s EP ‘Pryderi’, the debut album ‘Lakesongs of Elbid’ from 2024, and plenty of the new material. Support comes from Nottingham’s own Folk’n’Rollers Cadence Noir.
