Praying Through the Hymns We Love On this Quiet Day, musician and priest Rev’d Dr Becky Warner will be offering some ways of praying and reflecting with God through some of the nation’s favourite hymns. Looking at hymns about stillness, and hymns about our walk through life with God, there will be an opportunity to allow the words and music of the hymns to lead us into prayer, to listen to how they might resonate with our lives, and to ponder the questions they may be prompting us to reflect on. Led by Rev’d Dr Becky Applin Warner Becky was priested at the end of June 2025 and is the Assistant Curate at St Paul’s. Becky is a musician, mostly working as a theatre composer after originally training to compose for film. She is also a researcher, author and lecturer in musical theatre. She grew up and studied in Cambridge, and now lives in a small rural village outside Ely. She loves nature and the outdoors, as well as all things creative. Quiet Day price: £46 includes lunch and coffee and tea throughout the day.Why not think about extending your time at Launde by staying overnight after the event.
