Our next Home Education Day for KS3 will be on Thursday 19th November 2026. Everyone is welcome but is best suited to learners aged 11-14 or those accessing the Key Stages 3 curriculum. There will be three timed sessions including Owl Pellet Dissection, Political Power: From Iron Age to Roman Britain, and our new Become a Ranger session, as well as more informal, drop-in learning activities. Owl Pellet Dissection Become a wildlife detective and uncover what our tawny owls have been eating by exploring the bones, fur and feathers hidden inside their pellets. Political Power: From Iron Age to Roman Britain Join us for a local history study and learn about the changing nature of political power from the Iron Age to the Roman period here at Stanwick Lakes. Become a Ranger! Learn about how we manage our site and join our Ranger team to complete conservation work. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Siblings are welcome, children wishing to participate must purchase a ticket. Attending adults and non participating children under 2 are free of charge. Parking is included with your ticket if registration is provided at time of booking.
