Join St Cecilia Orchestra at Holy Trinity Church for a beautiful programme of music evoking the sights and sounds of a summer's evening. Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, performed by guitarist Chris Godhard, takes centre stage. Named after the famous royal site near Madrid, and brought to great popularity in the UK in the film Brassed Off, the concerto's melodies evoke 'the perfume of magnolias, the singing of birds and the gush of fountains'. Kodaly's pastoral Summer Evening, Ravel's nostalgic Pavane pour une Infante Defunte and Poulenc's light-hearted Sinfonietta complete the programme.

Thursday Lunch Club

Thursday Lunch Club, is one of our highlights of the week. We have a dedicated team of volunteers, including a local restaurateur, who will prepare and serve a three course lunch. The food is lovely and so is the company. Just come along for service at 12.00pm and enjoy great food and good company. It is just £4.00 for a main; £8.00 for 2 courses and £10.00 for 3. Every 1st, 3rd and 5th Thursday there is also a short spoken Holy Communion Service at 11.30am before hand if you wish to attend. All are welcome. We look forward to seeing you!

We serve breakfast of coffee, tea and pastries before our Altogether Service each month and this will be downstairs from 10.00 am. We would appreciate a small donation of £1 to help cover the cost of breakfast - but coming along is the most important thing.

We come together once a month to worship together as the whole church. This is a lively service where everyone is welcome. We aim to make the worship and the teaching accessible to children but with a depth that adults will appreciate too. This usually occurs on the first Sunday of the month. Don't forget, we serve breakfast of coffee, tea and pastries before our All Together Service from 10.00 am. So come early and enjoy a light breakfast before joining together in worship!
