Writing Flash Fiction Thursday afternoons 1pm-2:30pm for four weeks, From June 12th Flash fiction is the shortest form of writing, and one that presents an exciting gateway for new writers as well as many fantastic creative opportunities! Over the course of four weeks, we'll be exploring the definition of the medium, looking at some key examples, exploring the importance of 'freewriting' in the form, setting up multiple creative tasks for you to write your own flash fiction and more! Week 1 - Introduction and Defining Flash Fiction Week 2 - Crafting Ideas For Flash Fiction Week 3 - The Value of Freewriting Week 4 - Flash Fiction Publication The course will be led by Alex Davis, author, lecturer at the University of Derby and De Montfort University and an acclaimed writing workshopper and tutor with more than twenty years of experience Tickets £45/£27.50 concessions
