Retiring Well Course

The Retiring Well Course Retirement is a time of significant change. There are many ways to journey towards and then into retirement and many matters to think through. The course will be a mix of presentation and discussion using well established workbooks. The aim is to help those who attend towards an enjoyable, purposeful, fulfilled and fruitful retirement. The course will cost £20 which covers the purchase of the workbooks, and will be facilitated by Viv Morris. Having been in denial about retirement, and dreading it, she found this course and the workbooks enlightening and extremely helpful in planning for and then enjoying her first 2 years of retirement and would like to help others in a similar position get the most out of retirement. Topics covered will include: — Challenges and opportunities of retirement, — Exploring God`s calling for your retirement, — Leaving work well, — Taking a gap, — A balanced lifestyle: pacing life and use of time, — Supporting others and supporting yourself. — Self-worth and identity without paid employment, — Staying or moving, — More time at home: for single living and those who are married, — Devotional life in retirement. The aim is to help those who attend towards an enjoyable, purposeful, fulfilled and fruitful retirement. Retiring Well Course Saturday November 7th, 9:30 - 16:30 in the Forum Coffee Shop,
